Titan Airways Extends JetSpares Agreement with BAE Systems

JetSpares is an individually customized support program designed to allow an airline to concentrate on its operations while BAE Systems takes care of spares inventory, logistics and repairs.

Prestwick, Scotland.....Titan Airways, the London-Stansted-based VIP charter specialist, has underlined its confidence in the BAE Systems Regional Aircraft JetSpares programme by agreeing to a further extension of the support contract for almost two more years.

Operating a fleet of three BAe 146/Avro RJ aircraft, Titan Airways has been a long-standing customer for JetSpares over many years, with the previous contract valid for a four-year term. The new contract takes all three aircraft to when their next ‘C’ Checks are due.

JetSpares is an individually customised support programme designed to allow an airline to concentrate on its operations while BAE Systems takes care of spares inventory, logistics and repairs. The priority is to keep the airline’s business running smoothly by providing a first-class support service at a fixed monthly cost.

Celebrating 24 years of passenger operations this year, Titan Airways specialises in air charter operations with a fleet of turboprop and jet aircraft seating up to 265 passengers.

Titan Airways is also a leader in providing aircraft and crew at very short notice to airlines across Europe with its ‘Go Now’ policy which guarantees aircraft availability within 60 minutes of flight confirmation. Titan counts many leading European airlines among its customers for this service.

Additionally, the airline also specialises in cargo charters and its three BAe 146/Avro RJ aircraft include two QC (Quick-Change) passenger/freight aircraft.
