Gama Support Services Inc. to Expand US-Based Maintenance and Servicing Activity

May 1, 2012
Gama Support Services has created three separate FAA and EASA approved Part 145 Certified Repair Stations located in Bridgeport, CT (BDR), Teterboro, NJ (TEB), and West Palm Beach, FL (PBI).

Gama has been intensively building the infrastructure for this effort since 2009 with the creation of three separate FAA and EASA approved Part 145 Certified Repair Stations located in Bridgeport, CT (BDR), Teterboro, NJ (TEB), and West Palm Beach, FL (PBI).

Each of the repair stations has expansive authorizations to perform base and line maintenance on most models of Gulfstream, Falcon, Bombardier, Cessna and Hawker aircraft, as well as all of the associated powerplants.

Gama is focusing its growth initially at the West Palm Beach site, with the creation of a number of new technicians (engineering) jobs to service the increasing demand from aircraft operators in search of a ‘concierge’ level service.

Tom Connelly, President of Gama Support Services, commented: “We’ve been seeing a significant increase in aircraft operators from outside Gama’s own managed fleet  that have come to us in search of maintenance solutions from a  group that prides itself on its customer service ethos.  We are in the unique position to understand what corporate customers really need and want from an MRO, drawing on our 25 years of experience in aircraft management.  All our technicians have a corporate jet background and a pride of ownership that they bring to any aircraft they touch.  It is this cultural difference which separates Gama from most other facilities and which will particularly appreciated by prospective clients.”

“We’re excited about the growth we see in the US market and the opportunities for further expansion of our MRO services.”

Tom Connelly and Gama Group management will be at EBACE, Geneva – May 13-16.  Stand No 955.
