Palm City, Florida – April 25, 2012 – STS Component Solutions LLC announced today the acquisition of two ATR42-300s from Arkas S.A. Airlines. These aircraft are powered by PW 121 Turboprop Engines and are one of sixty-six ATR42s that were delivered with the Bendix/King (Honeywell) Avionics Suite. The aircraft have been disassembled and the components are in route to STS’s facility in Palm City, FL for re-sale. The Engines will be placed in an Asset Pool and made available for Lease or Sale to ATR 42 Operators and Engine MRO’s. These products are in addition to the MarathonNorco Batteries and Static Inverters STS Component Solutions carries for the ATR 42 and 72.
