Paris, Amstelveen, 19 April 2012 – Midwest Airlines and AFI KLM E&M have signed a long term engine support contract for the CFM56-7 engines equipping the Egyptian airline's two 737NG aircraft. The agreement covers shop visits and the supply of spare engines.
Strengthened Egyptian presence
This is the first time that AFI KLM E&M has worked with Midwest Airlines. With this contract the Egyptian carrier has found the assurance of benefiting from a top-quality service rooted in the knowledge and experience acquired by AFI KLM E&M as an operator of 737-800 aircraft. The extent of AFI KLM E&M's logistics network and its ability to design and deliver solutions tailored to the specific needs of carriers at lower cost are additional guarantees of trust and peace of mind for Midwest Airlines, whose aircraft operate in Pakistan.

After discontinuing operations in 2004, Midwest Airlines was officially sold in May 2009.
