ATS Announces Contract Awards From Lufthansa And SWISS
First deal for ATS with SWISS
Airport Terminal Services (ATS) is pleased to announce that both Lufthansa German Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) have appointed ATS as their ramp handling agent at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL).
The multi-year contract saw the transition of responsibility for the full ramp and cabin cleaning services of both airlines to ATS on April 1, 2012.
Lufthansa operates a daily flight connecting Montreal to its hub at Munich. SWISS operates a daily flight connecting Montreal to its hub at Zurich.
This is the seventh location where ATS provides services to Lufthansa. This marks the first collaboration between SWISS and ATS.
ATS President and Chief Operating Officer, Sally Leible, said: “Our Montreal team has come a long way in just under three years of operation. To be entrusted to commence widebody services in YUL, by two of the world’s premier international brands, is a significant milestone.”
