FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (March 30, 2012) – US Business Aviation aftermarket parts solution provider CRS Jet Spares continues to expand its support presence by signing an MOU to form CRS Jet Spares Asia at this year’s ABACE 2012 in Shanghai. CRS Asia will be a joint venture between CRS and AGA Logistics & Parts Pte Ltd., a Singapore based company.
“We have been formulating a program for a CRS footprint in the Asian market for several years now,” claims CEO and Founder Armando Leighton, Jr. “There have been many challenges, but finding the right partner has been the biggest one for us in this effort. We feel the experience and expertise, coupled with the Singapore location, makes our new partners the perfect group to work with.”
The Singapore based CRS Jet Spares Asia will begin operations with support for Gulfstream, Learjet, Hawker, Falcon and Challenger airframes. “Our core business is the tip-to-tail parts support for out of production or non-warranty aircraft,” stated Jack Caloras, Vice President of Sales and Operations. “Much of the news and buzz in our industry regarding this region of the world is over new deliveries, which is a wonderful fact for our industry. The CRS focus, however, is to follow the resale market and indications point to this region including Australia, South East Asia and China becoming much more active in this sector.”
CRS Jet Spares Asia will provide the regional support these airframes demand to maintain dispatch reliability. The Singapore facility will begin by providing solutions such as sales support, spares parts availability, logistics and component maintenance requirements.
