Melbourne, Florida, March 22, 2012 – Embraer-owned Executive Jet Service Centers in North America were awarded the coveted Diamond Award granted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for actively participating in its Aviation Technician Training Program.

The Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Diamond Award Certificate of Excellence is the industry’s highest recognition for aviation maintenance. All of Embraer’s technicians have qualified, a significant step given the widespread recognition that meeting the Diamond program requirements has become more demanding and harder to achieve.

“This is an important milestone that reassures all our Phenom and Legacy executive jet owners about the quality of the work and skill of the aircraft technicians at our service facilities,” said Jacques Blondeau, Director MRO Centers, Embraer Executive Jets. “We have achieved the highest recognition for aviation maintenance and this award is a further testament to our commitment to offer the best-in-class customer support and services. This certificate results from the considerable investment Embraer has made in our technicians and represents the high value we place on the right training for our workforce.”

The awards went to Embraer Executive Jets maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities at Hartford Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT,; Mesa Gateway Airport, Mesa, AZ and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood  International Airport, FL.

Embraer has a global network for its executive jets with over 60 owned and authorized service centers worldwide. This network is complemented by the company’s 24/7 Customer Service Center at its headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil.
