Austin Executive Builds Another Corporate Hangar

After ten months of operation, the new airport is answering the demand for additional corporate hangar space

Austin, TX – March 14, 2012 – After 10-months of operation the new Austin Executive Airport is answering the demand for additional corporate hangar space. Austin Executive Airport (KEDC) announced the plans to build another 26,650 square-foot corporate hangar to be open around May 1, 2012.  This will bring the airport’s hangar lease space to over 62,650 square feet.

Located 15-minutes from downtown adjacent to SH-130, Austin Executive Airport is a private development established by Mr. Ron Henriksen, a Houston businessman and pilot with over 40 years in the aviation industry.  Opened in May 2011 the airport caters to business and general aviation.  

As part of Austin Executive’s $33 million Master Plan, the airport boasts a variety of amenities including Henriksen Jet Center, a premier FBO terminal building with luxurious amenities and an 18,240 sqft arrival canopy.  The 6,025-foot runway and 29,000-square-foot corporate hangar can accommodate up to the largest corporate aircraft, including Gulfstream 650’s and Global Express aircraft.
