Jet Aviation Appoints Judith Moreton as Vice President & General Manager of Jet Aviation London Biggin Hill

Zurich / Switzerland, March 15, 2012 – Jet Aviation recently announced the appointment of Judith Moreton as the company’s new vice president and general manager at London Biggin Hill.

Jet Aviation has appointed Judith Moreton to assume leadership of its FBO and maintenance facility at London Biggin Hill Airport effective April 01, 2012. In her new role, Moreton reports directly to Christof Späth, senior vice president of the company’s MRO and FBO services in EMEA & Asia.

With twenty-five-years of experience in the aviation industry, Moreton has held a number of high-ranking positions, including several operational roles with commercial airlines, senior management positions with Shell Aircraft Ltd and as operations manager for UPC Aviation Service. Prior to establishing her own highly successful business aviation consultancy firm, Moreton served as managing director of Bombardier Skyjet International, expanding the company into the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and leading the business until it was sold in 2008. She was honored with the European Business Aviation (EBACE) award for her outstanding contribution to business aviation in 2007.

Chris Webb, who served as ad interim general manager, will now serve as operations manager for London Biggin Hill.

Jet Aviation's London Biggin Hill operation is the most convenient gateway to and from the country's capital, located just 12 miles (20 km) from central London. The facility provides FBO services, maintenance, avionics installations, refurbishment and exterior painting. The operation consists of one hangar totaling 2,500 square meters (27,000 square feet) and is an EASA part 145 (#EASA 145.00788) and FAR 145 (X5KY203B) approved maintenance organization as well as an authorized service center for the Dassault Falcon 900 series. The facility provides airframe maintenance to Falcons, the Raytheon Hawker series, the Citations 550 & 560 series and to Bombardier Canadair Challenger 601 – 605 series.
