Timken Names Michael Hekker Sales Manager for Aerospace
CANTON, Ohio: March 1, 2012 — The Timken Company (NYSE: TKR) today announced the appointment of Michael Hekker as product sales manager for Timken’s aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul business. In this role, Hekker will have overall responsibility for parts manufacturer approval (PMA) parts sales.
Hekker most recently worked for Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions as aftermarket sales manager. He has more than 15 years’ experience in aviation maintenance, sales and management, including five years as a crew chief in the United States Navy. Hekker earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary humanities from Michigan State University. He is a native of Muskegon, Mich. and will be relocating to Mesa, Ariz. in the near future.
