Jet Aviation Creates National Sales Team to Serve Clients with Five or More Aircraft

March 1, 2012

Teterboro, N.J. / March 1, 2012 – Jet Aviation has reorganized its U.S. sales force to better support the varying needs of clients with five or more aircraft for domestic or international travel by providing a single sales contact to those customers for all of the company’s global lines of business.

To fill that role, David Vaughan has been named vice president, national sales and key client accounts. Vaughan will be supported by the newly appointed national sales directors Craig Foster and Rich Ropp. All three professionals were with Jet Aviation before transitioning to their new roles.

“This structure simplifies the interaction between clients and Jet Aviation by designating one point of contact,” said Vaughan. “Our goal is to better support clients and operators by bundling our global service offerings, including FBO services, maintenance, flight support, charter and staffing, and providing tailored options to fill each customer’s unique requirements.”

The new national sales team also works with Jet Aviation’s existing sales force domestically and globally to support clients wherever they fly and to build awareness of all Jet Aviation services and capabilities worldwide. The current sales teams will draw on the resources of the U.S. national sales team to support operators whose needs extend across Jet Aviation’s service offerings.

Vaughan, a three-decade veteran of the business aviation industry, previously held key executive leadership positions in the business aviation support industry, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) and general aviation services. Vaughan joined Jet Aviation in 2010 and is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Ropp has 23 years of business aviation experience, including service as a line service technician at Jet Aviation’s Palm Beach operation early in his career. This new strategic sales role allows him to apply his diverse aviation knowledge to devise optimal solutions and tailored service offerings for Jet Aviation customers.

Foster served as a regional and national sales director for Jet Professionals prior to joining the national sales team. He began flying at age 13 and received his pilot certificate before his driver’s license. His comprehensive aviation background enables him to offer clients customized business aviation solutions in a timely manner with one point of contact. He is a graduate of Hobart College.
