LONG BEACH, CA February 28, 2012 – JetFlite International (JFI), a leading provider of aircraft management and charter services worldwide, has promoted Damon Danneker to director of operations. He joined JFI in 2008 as director of training and was most recently chief pilot.
“Damon has provided leadership at JFI’s major hubs of aviation in New York and in Long Beach,, CA where we have operating bases along with Moscow,” said Bill Cripe, JFI’s chief executive officer.
Danneker joined JFI after working at Jet Direct at Los Angeles’ Van Nuys Airport. Prior to that he was the lead flight instructor and check airman for Sierra West Airlines of El Paso, TX.

Inspired by a client to follow his passion, he traveled to Orlando to complete his certified flight instructor certificate and returned to Los Angeles where he ran a flight school in El Monte, CA.
Danneker’s promotion to chief of operations comes at a time when JetFlite’s growth continues to be fueled by increasing worldwide charter business. JetFlite’s growth this year has been spurred by its international flights which account for more than 50 percent of its total aircraft charter business, according to Cripe. Las year JFI flew to more than 35 countries including Algeria, Brazil, Chile, China, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Israel, Morocco, Russia, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
