Strengthened commitment reflects next stage of 787 delivery and GoldCare program expansion

Ottawa, Canada (February 28, 2012) – Mxi® Technologies, the leader in aviation maintenance management software, announced today that it has signed an expanded long-term agreement with Boeing as a key partner in the ongoing support and delivery of the GoldCare program. The renewed agreement reflects a continued investment to deliver a comprehensive maintenance solution set built around Boeing’s OEM expertise and underpinned by Mxi Technologies’ market-leading Maintenix® software.  This marks an ongoing commitment on behalf of Mxi Technologies and Boeing as they shift from GoldCare development to GoldCare production operations.

Mxi Technologies has been a key business and IT system integration partner for Boeing’s GoldCare aftermarket service offering, providing the Maintenix software as the core to Boeing’s GoldCare information technology platform, which combines onboard airframe systems, technical documentation, full MRO capability and Boeing supply chain. First developed for the 787 Dreamliner and recently offered for additional Boeing airframe types, GoldCare is marking the next phase of entry into the market with the arrival of production 787 aircraft and the launch of the GoldCare service into mission critical airline operations.

“Boeing’s success is driven by our customer experience; to that end we have made significant investments in new products and services that reflect the needs of an evolving market and enhance our customer’s operations,” says Jay Maloney, Vice President of Fleet Management, Boeing. “We are committed to working with organizations who share our passion for innovation and our dedication to driving the industry forward, making Mxi and the Maintenix software a natural fit for our aftermarket programs.”

“Over the past decade, Mxi Technologies has invested heavily in the evolution of OEM total-care solutions and the expansion of our agreement with Boeing is a testament to our efforts,” says Dave Seibel, President and CEO, Mxi Technologies. “With the entry into service of the 787 Dreamliner and the GoldCare program, Boeing is uniquely positioned to transform the way the world flies and to leverage the latest technologies, both in the air and in the hangar, to help operators realize significant operational efficiencies in a highly competitive landscape.”
