CAE Global Academy to Train Third Group of Cadets for Vietnam Airlines
This brings the total number of Vietnam Airlines cadets to 120.
CAE Global Academy Phoenix will train a third group of cadets for Vietnam Airlines at its Mesa, Arizona, USA campus. This brings the total number of Vietnam Airlines cadets to 120. The first cadet class graduated in January, and the second class began training in November. After the successful completion of training, the student pilots are issued a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME) rating by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CCAV) and proceed to type-rating training in order to become First Officers for the airline.
Phoenix is one of 11 CAE Global Academy campuses, the world’s largest ab initio flight school network.
