Gulfstream Names Steven Meng Regional Product Support Sales Manager for Southern California
He is responsible for the sale of maintenance, paint and interior upgrades as well as avionics modifications to Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream operators in Los Angeles, San Diego and the surrounding areas.
SAVANNAH, Ga., February 22, 2012 — Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recently named Steven Meng as the regional sales manager for Product Support Sales in Southern California. He reports to Jace Stone, director, Product Support Sales, West Region.
Meng, who is based in Long Beach, Calif., is responsible for the sale of maintenance, paint and interior upgrades as well as avionics modifications to Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream operators in Los Angeles, San Diego and the surrounding areas.
Prior to his promotion, Meng was a senior internal sales manager for Product Support Sales at Gulfstream’s facility in Long Beach. He also worked as a service team manager, service center crew chief and lead technician while at Gulfstream Long Beach.
A 17-year veteran of corporate aviation, including 14 years with Gulfstream, Meng began his career as an airframe and powerplant (A&P) technician at Midwest Jet Center in Cincinnati.
Meng earned his A&P license from Cincinnati Technical and Community College. He is a licensed private pilot.
