AIR COMM CORP. OFFERS ULTIMATE GUIDE TO HELICOPTER ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEMS AT HELI-EXPO 2012
BOULDER, Colo., February 7, 2012 – Air Comm Corporation, a leader in the design, production and support of the world’s most reliable and efficient environmental control systems for rotorcraft, will present “The Ultimate Guide to Helicopter Environmental Control Systems,” at Heli-Expo 2012 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday, February 12. The presentation, for all rotorcraft owners, operators and maintainers, begins at 10:00 a.m. in Room C-148 in the Convention Center.
”The Air Comm team is delighted to offer another informative presentation to the rotary wing community,” said Keith Steiner, Air Comm Corp. president. “We invite everyone interested in helicopter environmental control to join us and ask questions. We have the answers.”
During the presentation, Air Comm’s technical experts will cover the fundamentals of rotorcraft heating and air conditioning, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting tips, as well as advice for environmental control system buyers who want maximum returns in efficiency and mission capability from their investments. The session will address questions on finding the right system, accurately assessing life cycle costs and the impact of comfort on mission success.
In addition, Air Comm will discuss its new testing facility in Carrollton, Texas. The lab will enable Air Comm to improve its products and services by providing simulated environments that can more accurately measure the performance of heating and air conditioning systems. The facility contains two separate computer-controlled temperature and relative humidity chambers that can replicate any operational environment.
Air Comm Corp. also will feature its advanced technologies throughout Heli-Expo 2012, Feb. 12-14, at its exhibit, located in Booth 9743.
Backed by exceptional engineering and technical capabilities, Air Comm Corp. designs, manufactures and supports more than 20 heating and air conditioning systems for a range of helicopters, including Agusta, Bell, Eurocopter, MD and Sikorsky. Additionally, Air Comm has specialized expertise in fluid mass analysis, system performance testing and electro/mechanical system design, development and production. Other capabilities include CNC tube fabrication, wire harness fabrication, circuit breaker/relay/control panel design and production and engineering services.
