Commenting on the acquisition, S. Michael Scheeringa, President of Signature Flight Support said, “Elliott Aviation has a long history and a very well-respected name in our industry. They are one of the innovators in business and general aviation and for over 75 years they have been known for providing exceptional service to their customers. We are proud to bring this location into Signature’s global network and welcome David Poole, Station Manager and the world-class staff of Omaha to the Signature Flight Support family.”

“Our purchase agreement with Signature Flight Support is the right strategic move for our company,” said Wynn Elliott, CEO of Elliott Aviation. “Our Omaha facility is a beautiful location with highly-talented individuals, however, as we build our focus on growing the MRO business, it allows for us to move to opportunities more widely dispersed throughout the country. We are confident that Signature Flight Support offers the employees at the Omaha facility the best opportunity to flourish in their careers.”

Omaha is home to more than 30,000 businesses and the region has the eighth largest concentration of billionaires per capita among the nation’s 50 largest cities. It is the headquarters of four Fortune 1000 companies and five Fortune 500 companies.
