Florida State College at Jacksonville Selects Sunrise Aviation as New Flight Training Vendor

Sunrise Aviation is initially bringing six aircraft to Cecil Airport for use by the FSCJ students. Those aircraft will include Cessna 172 Skyhawks, Cessna 152s, and a Piper Arrow and a Piper Seminole. Sunrise Aviation will equip all of the primary training aircraft at Cecil Airport with Garmin 430 GPS systems, an installation similar to that of FSCJ Redbird LD Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs).

Sunrise Aviation has more than 40 aircraft at its Ormond Beach, Florida base of operations. Sunrise Aviation has a world-wide reputation for training professional pilots. Students from Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America visit Sunrise Aviation in Ormond Beach to receive all the flight training required to gain entry into the airline pilot profession.
