Embraer Hosts 13th Operators Conference in Australia

Perth, Australia, November 16, 2011 – Embraer is hosting its 13^th Operators Conference (EOC) in Australia, November 16-17. The event is being held in Perth, Western Australia, and is dedicated to five EMB 120 Brasilia operators in the region. This is an invaluable opportunity for customers, operators, and equipment and service providers to share information, experiences and best practices regarding the operation of these airplanes.

With participation growing from 16 people, in 1999, to almost 80, today, it continues to be well-attended and validated as a key tool for our customer communications and support,” said Luiz Hamilton, Embraer Vice President, Services and Support – Commercial Aviation.

Since 1978, when the first EMB 110 Bandeirante began flying in Asia Pacific, Embraer’s footprint in the region has grown significantly. Today, there are nearly 150 commercial aircraft and more than 20 operators, with one commercial aircraft taking off or landing every two minutes.
