A J Walter Aviation Receives Supplier Approval From Thew UAE’S General Civil Aviation Authority
Now approved to UAE’s GCAA standard, AJW continues to deliver quality products and services across the MENA region from its facilities in Dubai.
A J Walter Aviation has been awarded Aeronautical Parts & Components Supplier Approval by the General Civil Aviation Authority in accordance with the UAE Civil Aviation Rules and Regulations. GCAA is the sole authority for the control and regulation of civil aviation in the UAE and is responsible for the provision of en-route air navigation services and all aspects of flight safety. These official parts and components supplier approvals have been granted to AJW well before other component suppliers in the region, testament to the Company’s rigorous commitment to a strong trading platform across the UAE.
The AJW team in Dubai is also expanding to maintain the Company’s rigorous customer service standards. With locally available Airbus and Boeing inventories AJW is able to comprehensively support a growing number of requirements from operators across the MENA region.
“Recently RAK Airways awarded AJW a three year contract to provide full power-by-the-hour and MBK lease support for its A320 fleet” explains Oliver Smith, Regional Director at A J Walter Aviation. “We also have an extensive agreement with Global Jet to develop an exclusive airside facility in the Dubai Free Zone. This includes consumables, rotables and complete engine management for their current B737-300/400 and A300-600 aircraft fleets.”
All AJW systems and practices are continually updated to meet current statutory, regulatory and individual customer requirements. Every year AJW successfully wins or renews a range of approvals including certifications from over thirty airlines, airline engineering and OEM customers and holds approvals from over 275 individual customers. The Company has AS/EN 9120 and FAA approvals across all its UK, Singapore and Dubai facilities and it was commended by international certification agency Bureau Veritas on its knowledge, implementation and adherence to all procedures.
