Flightline Technical Services Adds Staff, Capacity, Prepares for New Service Offerings

It has added two aviation technicians to the highly skilled team at the company's Regional Service Center in Tallahassee, FL.

TALLAHASSEE, Florida, November 1, 2011 – Flightline Technical Services, a Flightline Group company, has added two aviation technicians to the highly skilled team at the company’s Regional Service Center in Tallahassee, Florida. Joe Volker, an experienced avionics technician, and Joe Garcia, a veteran aircraft technician, have joined the team at the aircraft maintenance company augmenting capacity and services available to aircraft owners throughout the southeastern U.S. Joe Garcia, joins Flightline Technical Services after working with the State of Florida for nearly 10 years where he was an aircraft mechanic and inspector on the State’s fleet of King Air turboprops and Citation Bravo turbojet.

With over 17 years as a certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic, Joe brings a wealth of experience working on piston, turboprop, and jet aircraft in general aviation, military and the commercial aircraft industry. In addition to his A&P license, Joe holds an Inspector Authorization (IA) and has completed numerous training courses with Flight Safety, Simuflite and OEMs. Mr. Garcia is nearing completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a minor in Aviation Safety. Joe Volker, is the most recent member of the Flightline Technical Services team and has over 11 years of experience repairing, installing, testing and inspecting avionics equipment in general aviation aircraft.

Joe has worked extensively on a wide variety of avionics and instruments and is current able to install and service the latest glass-panels systems on all classes of general aviation aircraft. He is certified as a Rockwell Collins and Honeywell Autopilot Repair Technician and has completed the NCATT Aircraft Electronics Technician Certification as well training in Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) and OEM certificate programs. In addition Mr. Volker served 10 years in U.S. Marine Corps as an electronics technician and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Joe is nearing completion of his FAA Airframe Rating. Already a capable service facility, the addition of these professional aviation technicians postures Flightline Technical Services to expand the aircraft maintenance and inspection services offered to clients at KTLH and throughout the region.
