Jet Aviation Van Nuys Adds New Team Members and Managed Aircraft to its Roster

John Anderson joins the team as regional maintenance manager. Lori Thomas joined the team in July 2011 as charter sales manager for the Western division.

Van Nuys, CA / October 11, 2011 – Jet Aviation Van Nuys has added two aircraft to its managed aircraft roster and bolstered its team with the addition of John Anderson and Lori Thomas.

Opened in June 2011, the Jet Aviation Van Nuys operation has added a Gulfstream V and a Challenger 604 to the company’s management fleet. The Van Nuys operation also is strengthened by the addition of two new team members.

John Anderson joins the team as regional maintenance manager. For 18 years, Anderson was director of maintenance for The Air Group, managing the maintenance programs for Air Group’s domestic and international aircraft. Prior to joining The Air Group, he was director of maintenance for Fluor Corporation. John is a U.S. Army veteran and a Bronze Star Medal recipient.

Lori Thomas joined the team in July 2011 as charter sales manager for the Western division, after extensive experience with The Air Group, XOJet and Avjet Corporation. Lori’s experience working with prominent entertainment and Fortune 500 clients will be a valuable addition to Jet Aviation’s charter services team in Los Angeles.

John and Lori report to Jon Winthrop, vice president and managing director of the Van Nuys operation. An industry veteran with more than 40 years of aviation experience, Jon is supported by an experienced team. The new Van Nuys operation offers management and charter services from its offices.
