Duncan Aviation Becomes the First Universal Avionics Authorized Service Center in U.S.
Duncan Avionics will be authorized to perform Universal Avionics unit repairs at the board level.
Lincoln, NE -- Duncan Aviation and Universal Avionics announce that Duncan Avionics in Lincoln has been selected as the first and only authorized service center in the United States for Universal Avionics. Duncan Aviation and Universal enjoy a long history of working together and Duncan Aviation has been privileged to be the North American sales leader for Universal equipment every year but one since 1996. This new agreement involves Universal's ongoing effort to supply customers with world class product support.
Duncan Avionics has acquired Universal's Automatic Test Equipment and will be authorized to perform unit repairs at the board level, including board exchanges, modifications, software updates and battery replacements for both warranty and non-warranty units. Duncan Aviation technicians have completed all training required to comply with Universal's requirements and all certificates and manuals relevant to this service center agreement are now housed in Lincoln. Duncan Aviation's satellite network will be authorized to perform in-aircraft troubleshooting as well as to remove and replace Universal equipment.
Duncan Aviation is an aircraft service provider with 1,800 employees supporting the aviation needs of government and business operators and other service providers. These services include airframe, engine, avionics installations, interior and paint completions/modifications, avionics/instrument and accessory/propeller repair/overhaul and parts support.
