Aerospace Testing Expo 2005

Hot on the heels of the triumphant Aerospace Testing Expo Europe 2005 in April, comes a new trail-blazing show for the North American market -- based in the heart of North America’s largest aerospace community! With over 250 leading, international exhibitors and over 100 free to attend presentations, this unique event for the North American civil and military aerospace industries, has already attracted pre-registrations from test, evaluation and inspection senior professionals reaching across the USA, Canada, Central and South America and further a field to over 50 other countries.

One of the special features of the show is the three-day, ‘Free to Attend’ high-level, scientific, technical and commercial presentations highlighting the very latest technologies, solutions and methods for test program requirements. Visitors can pick and choose the presentations of most interest from the Open Technology Forum and the AeroNDT Technology Forum over the three days as well as a Flight Test Seminar on November 9th and a special SpaceTest session on November 10th.

Selected expert speakers and leading industry figures in The Open Technology Forum will cover all principle test sectors including structural and fatigue testing, aerodynamic and wind tunnel testing, electronic and avionic test and simulation, propulsion testing, data acquisition, analysis and management, space systems testing, EMC testing, acoustic and vibration testing, materials testing, reliability testing, mechanical testing, hydraulic testing, ground support testing and more. Presentations include U.S. Air Force, Boeing, BAE Systems, Cessna Aircraft, QuinetiQ, US Navy, Honeywell, National Institute for Aviation Research, Pratt and Whitney and National Council Canada.

The SpaceTest session is dedicated to emerging new technologies and solutions for meeting current and future space testing demands and includes presentations by representatives from The Aerospace Corporation, NASA, EADS CASA and the European Space Agency (ESA).

Reflecting the crucial importance of non-destructive testing throughout current and future aviation and aerospace industries, Aerospace Testing Expo 2005, North America, will also provide a dedicated non-destructive testing (NDT) zone showcasing up to 50 of the world’s leading NDT companies and organisations. This will be supported with a complimentary program of specialist presentations from leading NDT experts and key aerospace end-user organisations, addressing the crucial issues underlying NDT and from some of the leading NDT suppliers, presenting some of the very latest NDT technology on offer. Major aerospace user organisations and leading technology suppliers that are giving presentations include Boeing, GE Inspection Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Olympus, U.S. Navy, Dassault Falcon Jet and Fujifilm.

Doug Shane, VP and Chief Test Pilot of Scaled Composites and President of The Society of Experimental Test Pilots (SETP) is the keynote speaker at the Flight Testing Seminar which is also hosted by the The Society of Flight Test Engineers (SFTE) and the Flight Test Safety Committee (FTSC). The theme is ‘Cost Effective Testing’.

All visitors who pre-register to attend Aerospace Testing Expo 2005 at Long Beach, California on Nov. 8, 9 and 10, will also be submitted into a FREE PRIZE DRAW to win a fighter mission over the skies of California! Every day of the show there will be two lucky winners.
