Aerospace Products International, Inc. (API), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services, Inc. and leading provider of innovative distribution and supply chain services for the aviation industry, announces the successful deployment of version 5.1 of ESP (Electronic Supply Program). ESP is API's web-based inventory management system that uses a handheld Pocket PC/barcode scanner and hosted database to allow customers to track inventory transactions, view global inventory status and automatically replenish stocks.

ESP links API's supply chain management experience to its distribution business, adding value to API's product mix and allowing customers to optimize their supply chain.

Some of the benefits of ESP include:

Worldwide visibility of inventory and transaction history

Transactional data:

ESP captures receiving and consumption data

Process cost reduction:

Minimize procurement and inventory management costs

Product, inventory and working capital cost reduction

Customized reporting

Usage history

Consumption by work-order or employee number

Inventory status

And many other reports

Version 5.1 gives ESP customers the flexibility of user-defined, custom fields. Customers may now track, monitor and report time life, cycle life and calendar life requirements.

Implementation of ESP requires no IT investment. ESP is web-based and can be used from any computer with Internet access. API also helps implement ESP, including stockroom setup and barcoding.

ESP will be demonstrated at NBAA in Orlando Florida, Booth number 2234
