Henkel Selects Aviall to Distribute Products for MRO Markets

BAY POINT, Calif., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Henkel Corp. and Aviall, Inc. have reached an agreement that will make Aviall an authorized distributor of Henkel aerospace products in the United States. Aviall began marketing and distributing Henkel products primarily to MRO operations (maintenance, repair and overhaul) on December 1, 2005 .

Through this affiliation with Aviall, Henkel will have access to 27 strategically placed stocking locations in North America for its aerospace products. The agreement allows Henkel to address its requirement for a full-line MRO distributor for its customers and increase its market presence by aligning with an MRO-focused business partner.

Henkel product lines primarily involved in the agreement are:

* Turco(R) and Alodine(R) brands of metal surface treatments and conversion coatings;

Aviall will also continue to market and distribute Loctite(R) productsfrom Henkel. The Loctite(R) brand represents engineering adhesives, sealants and coatings for original equipment and MRO applications.
