LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (March 16, 2005) –- FlightSafety is significantly expanding its maintenance course offerings through a resource sharing agreement with Global Jet Services.

"Our goal is to better serve the expanding and advancing training requirements of the worldwide aircraft maintenance community," said Mike Lee, Vice President Technology and Compliance, FlightSafety International. "FlightSafety will now provide our customers with direct access to the full array of Global Jet Services Professional Development Maintenance Courses including repair-station training, human factors, customer service, OSHA/EPA and aviation interpersonal maintenance management (AIMM)."

The courses emphasize human factors in aviation maintenance and recognize that customer service, business operations, personnel management and government regulations are often everyday considerations in many aircraft maintenance departments. They range from two days to a week in length and can be delivered at FlightSafety Learning Centers or offsite at a facility near or within the customer's offices.

"We are extremely excited to be working with FlightSafety," said J.D. McHenry, President of Global Jet Services. "With combined course offerings, customers will greatly benefit from the extensive options, along with new and innovative courses."

Like the other FlightSafety maintenance and pilot training delivered to thousands of professionals each year, these new options are backed by the expertise of the company's five-plus-decades of experience and aviation-training leadership. Global Jet Services brings its experience in hands-on, on-site maintenance training programs.

FlightSafety International is the world's premier aviation training organization. Over 75,000 pilots, technicians and other aviation professionals train at FlightSafety facilities each year. The company designs and manufactures full flight simulators for civil and military aircraft programs and operates the world’s largest fleet of advanced full flight simulators at over 40 training locations.
