LINCOLN, Mass. – March 30, 2006 – Avidyne Corporation announced today that the company has enhanced its new-product warranty support and extended those enhancements to its FLEX Extended Warranty service plans for the best-selling Entegra integrated flight deck products and for the FlightMax Multi-Function Displays (MFDs). The new service plans significantly upgrade the coverage of existing warranties as part of Avidyne's expanded commitment to deliver the industry-best customer service.

The new warranty and FLEX service plans now provide overnight and priority one-day exchange service options throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Latin America. Added benefits include costs associated with coverage of dealer removal, replacement and calibration as well as shipping to and from Avidyne's repair center.

Under the new plans, products requiring service can be exchanged quickly and shipping for the replacement unit and the returned unit are covered in the new plans. Additionally, customers can manage their plans through MyAvidyne.com — the direct line to Avidyne, also providing support for MultiLink, text messaging, flight tracking, CMax management, and more.

"Our new warranty and FLEX service plans will make your customer support experience as simple and easy to use as our best-selling integrated flight deck and MFD products," said Mark Sandeen, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Avidyne.

"Our enhanced warranty and FLEX service plans demonstrate Avidyne's commitment to delivering the best customer and technical support in general aviation," said Avidyne President Dan Schwinn.

Entegra consists of at least two 10.4-inch diagonal, high-resolution, sunlight-readable displays, including an EXP5000 primary flight display (PFD) with integrated solid-state air data and attitude/heading reference system (ADAHRS) and primary engine instruments. The EX5000 is also the first large-format MFD for general aviation that can display data from the RDR 2000 digital airborne weather radar system and from optional XM WX and Avidyne's MultiLink datalink weather services. Additional options include Avidyne's FlightCenter services for flight tracking and two-way text messaging capabilities, and CMax JeppView electronic charts.

Avidyne's FlightMax EX500 brings integrated-datalink multifunction display capability, including the largest array of radar and traffic, lightning and terrain sensor interfaces available today, to the flight decks of virtually all business and general aviation aircraft. Options include MultiLink, FlightCenter and CMax.
