John DiMattei recently accepted the position of Avionics Engineer with Banyan Air Services, located at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- John DiMattei recently accepted the position of Avionics Engineer with Banyan Air Services, located at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. John is responsible for the design and engineering for avionics installations and upgrades on corporate class turbine powered aircraft. John produces CAD drawings, ensures proper integration of avionics into existing aircraft systems, and ensures that new and existing avionics and electrical components are compatible.

John has an electrical engineering degree from the New York Institute of Technology and previously worked in avionics at Grumman Aerospace, Eastern Airlines and Northwest Airlines. John is a commercial instrument rated pilot.
