Pentastar Aviation Receives STC for CMC Electronic Flight Bag

Waterford, MI -- Pentastar Aviation, one of the nation's leading aviation services providers, has been awarded Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) ST02281CH from the Federal Aviation Administration. Pentastar Aviation is headquartered at Oakland County International Airport. Tom Seeber, President and Chief Executive Officer, Pentastar Aviation, made the announcement.

This STC allows for the installation of the CMC Electronics CMA-1100 Electronic Flight Bag in aircraft covered under the Approved Model List (AML), which includes the Falcon 2000 and Falcon 2000EX aircraft. Additionally, the project included the first Yoke mount approval granted for the Falcon 2000 aircraft. The AML is above all remarkable, allowing different Aircraft types to be installed with the CMA-1100 system and avoiding the complete STC process, which reduces downtime due to the plunging need for certification resources.
