Bob Candler has been named Vice President and General Manager of Landmark's Springfield, Ill., maintenance, repair and overhaul operation.

TEMPE, Ariz., June 16, 2006 -- Landmark Aviation today named Bob Candler as Vice President and General Manager of its Springfield, Ill., maintenance, repair and overhaul operation, responsible for the overall management of the business and working closely with customers on a full range of aircraft modifications and services.

"We are pleased to have Bob on the Landmark team, bringing with him more than 30 years of corporate and general aviation experience," said Harvey Ticlo, Senior Vice President, MRO Operations, for Landmark Aviation. "With an emphasis on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, he will strengthen the Landmark offering and provide our customers with a new level of outstanding service."

Candler previously worked at Bombardier Business Aircraft as Director of Operations for the company's Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Denver service centers. He also held sales and customer support management positions at the company. Prior to that, Candler worked for CTS Aviation Services in Seattle and in corporate flight departments. He holds airframe and powerplant licenses and is a former U.S. Marine.

Landmark's Springfield operation, in addition to providing FBO services, is a full service aircraft center, providing full retrofits and line maintenance for aircraft engines, aircraft paint in a state-of-the-art, multi-bay facility, complete modifications on all business aircraft, and all avionic system modifications and upgrades.
