Landmark names James FBO GM

Landmark Aviation names Alphonso James as its new general manager for the company's Greensboro, N.C., FBO.

TEMPE, Ariz. June 21, 2006 — Landmark Aviation today named Alphonso James as its new general manager for the company's Greensboro, N.C., FBO.

"Alphonso brings a breadth of industry experience to this key leadership role," said Shawn Vick, President, Landmark Aviation. "In addition to a busy FBO Greensboro is also a Landmark maintenance, repair and overhaul 'Lite' operation, providing engine, avionics and airframe maintenance for business aircraft."

Since 2000 James had been General Manager at Landmark's Albany, Ga., FBO. Prior to that, he served as Business Manager for the company's Norfolk, Va., FBO. He has more than 13 years of aviation management experience. He holds an associates degree in applied sciences from Common Wealth University.

Landmark's Greensboro facility offers a full range of FBO services and amenities, including 24/7 fuel service, baggage handling, pilot lounge, conference room, Internet wireless, hangar and aircraft sales.
