Stevens Aviation Awarded T-34/T-44 Depot Maintenance Contract

Stevens Aviation has been awarded the contract to provide Depot Maintenance services for the U.S. Navy’s T-34/T-44 fleet in support of the Contractor Logistics Support Services contract awarded to Sikorsky Support Services Inc.

Stevens Aviation has been awarded the contract to provide Depot Maintenance services for the U.S. Navy’s T-34/T-44 fleet in support of the Contractor Logistics Support Services contract awarded to Sikorsky Support Services Inc. (SSSI). The contract will support the Chief of Naval Air Training's Undergraduate Student Naval Aviator training missions.

As the prime contractor, Sikorsky will support 100 T-34C Turbomentor and 54 T-44A Pegasus aircraft based at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas, and 154 T-34C and 46 T-6 aircraft at NAS Whiting Field, Milton, Florida, and additionally, 27 T-34C and 1 T-6 supported at nine Satellite Sites throughout the United States. Stevens Aviation will perform T-34 and T-44 Aircraft Condition Inspection and Depot Repair and Engineering services in Greenville, SC. Additionally Stevens Aviation will provide engineering and technical support for operations at Corpus Christi and Pensacola Sikorsky Support Services, Inc. This contract includes a three-month base period plus four option years commencing July 2006.
