Aviall Is Awarded Ten-Year Extension of Model 250 Contract

Although the existing ten-year agreement is not due to expire until Dec. 31, 2009, Rolls-Royce, has requested and Aviall agreed to extend the existing agreement until 2019.

DALLAS, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviall, Inc., a subsidiary of The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) announced that it has been awarded an early renewal of its ten-year Model 250 exclusive worldwide aftermarket agreement with Rolls-Royce. Although the existing ten-year agreement is not due to expire until Dec. 31, 2009, Rolls-Royce, has requested and Aviall agreed to extend the existing agreement until 2019.

There are approximately 16,000 Model 250 engines in service today throughout the world in both commercial and military applications. Aviall currently services over 4,500 customers in 155 countries as well as the FIRST network of 27 Rolls-Royce authorized maintenance centers throughout the world.
