Goodrich to Offer Nacelle 787 Support Along With GE OnPoint Solutions

Goodrich Corporation can now offer total nacelle support for the Boeing 787 Dreamlineraircraft powered by GE-Aviation's GEnx engine.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Goodrich Corporation(NYSE: GR) can now offer total nacelle support for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft powered by GE-Aviation's GEnx engine. In addition, through a marketing agreement with GE-Aviation, Goodrich's nacelle support will be made available to customers of GE's OnPoint solutions for GEnx engine operators.

According to Goodrich's Aero structures division After market Services Vice President and General Manager, Bob Gustafson , "Our Aero structures team has signed this marketing agreement with GE so that we can offer GEnx customers total nacelle support on the Boeing 787 aircraft, to work in conjunction with GE-Aviation's OnPoint solutions. Traditionally, nacelle maintenance and material costs can be variable, unpredictable, and rarely guaranteed. To complement GE's OnPoint engine services, our Goodrich team of nacelle and thrust reverser experts will package all customer support needs into a unified nacelle program. Furthermore, through the use of proactive maintenance management, we will employ parts, rotables, logistics, AOG protection, and MRO to deliver operational satisfaction and also reduce life cycle costs for our customers."
