ACTS Signs Parts Pact with Hamilton Sundstrand

Hamilton Sundstrand, a designer and manufacturer of aerospace systems and a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp (NYSE: UTX), on Monday announced that the company has signed a long-term agreement to provide Air Canada Technical Services (ACTS), Air Canada and Jazz with exclusive spare parts support on select airframe and engine accessories.

ACTS is a primary maintenance provider for the airlines Air Canada and Jazz. ACTS, Air Canada and Jazz are subsidiaries of ACE Aviation Holdings Inc.

Under the eight-year agreement Hamilton Sundstrand will supply aircraft parts to support Air Canada and Jazz operations for all aircraft types. It also includes an option to extend the deal an additional two years.
