Denver, Colorado, Feb. 8, 2007 – Avtrak LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Steinwender, Bob Stanton and Paul Adams to its staff in Avtrak’s Wichita office.

"We are extremely fortunate to have these three highly qualified aviation professionals join our team," said Glenn Hertzler, Avtrak President. "Their past experience and passion for the customer make them a perfect fit for the Avtrak team," said Hertzler.

Mark Steinwender

Mark started his career in aviation with the US Navy in 1981. Mark was assigned to VP-8 in Brunswick, Maine, where he worked in Maintenance Control and the Tech Pubs Library. Mark joined United Beechcraft in Tampa Florida in October 1994 as a Quality Control Technician where he was responsible for aircraft logbook research and return to service audits as well as the Pratt & Whitney ECTM program for the PT6A and JT15D series engines. Mark joined Raytheon Aircraft Company in November 1999 as a maintenance program specialist responsible for the development of the new FACTS maintenance tracking system within SAP. Mark most recently held the position of Program Sales, Customer Support Programs for Raytheon Aircraft Company.

Mark is excited about his new opportunity with AVTRAK, Inc. "I have been in aviation maintenance tracking and compliance for the past 13 years on the Hawker and Beechcraft products. I am looking forward to levying that experience on behalf of AVTRAK to provide our customers with the finest maintenance tracking solution on the market today. Bob Stanton

Bob Stanton began his aviation career in 1969 when he joined the Royal Air Force. His service took him to Cyprus and Germany as well as UK and he worked on aircraft as diverse as the Vickers Varsity, Avro Vulcan and Anglo-French Jaguar.

After several years working on small aircraft and taking his CAA A & C licenses he joined Rolls Royce as a planning engineer before moving to London Business Aviation as Maintenance Planner. While there he recognized the inadequacies of the in-house cardex system as well as the leading workcard based commercial program of the era and designed his own spreadsheet based maintenance tracking system for Hawker aircraft as well as a computerized workcard program for the BAe 146.

Bob joined Raytheon Aircraft in 1995 as Hawker Customer Service Engineer and later became service engineering supervisor. He left Raytheon Aircraft to become Wichita Technical Services Manager for the NORDAM Group but returned to head up the Hawker group of the FACTS maintenance tracking program.

Bob comes to AVTRAK with 38 years of aviation experience and, in his own words, is "happy to be joining a company that is vibrant, forward-looking, but above all else genuinely customer focused." Outside of work Bob enjoys politics, history, riding his motor cycle and spending time with Joan, his wife of 33 years – Bob is a believer in commitment. Contact Bob: Office: (316) 630-0188.

Paul Adams

Paul is a life long Wichitan with a background of almost 20 years in law enforcement, Haz-Mat, and safety. While working in the safety department at a regional medical center, Paul volunteered to assist with starting a new air ambulance service because of his love of aviation. In reality, it was an excuse to be around aircraft. In 1997, Paul decided to transition into a full time career in aviation by earning his A&P certificates and going to work for a regional airline to gain experience with heavy and line maintenance. After earning his A&P certifications, Paul was recruited to teach the General portion of the A&P curriculum at a local college with a Part 147 school. Paul also has a Bachelor of Science in business management to compliment his A&P. Paul left the school in 2004 and was introduced to maintenance tracking when he took a temporary position with CAMP Systems at Bombardier. Paul elected to not accept a permanent position and instead took a position with Raytheon Aircraft's FACTS Maintenance Tracking Program.

In Paul’s words, "After partnering with the folks at Avtrak for the last year and a half, I am excited to become part of their team. They have a fantastic organization that combines a great program with exceptional customer service." Contact Paul: Office: (316) 630-0188.
