Aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co (NYSE: BA) has said that Air New Zealand has finalized an order for four additional 787-9s.
The order follows on from the airline's announcement in December that it would be making a further order. This is the carrier's third order for the 787 Dreamliner and it has now ordered a total of eight 787-9 Dreamliners.
Deliveries of the four aircraft will take place in 2011-2013. The value of the new order is approximately USD700m at list prices.
