MIAMI – Aero Maintenance Group today announced its selection by Aerolineas Galapagos to provide total component support for its growing fleet of nine Boeing 737 aircraft. Aerogal is the largest domestic airline in Ecuador and serves several international destinations throughout South America. During the five-year program AMG will exclusively support Aerogal on power-by-the-hour terms and provide access to the B737 inventory pool located at AMG‘s Miami Logistics Center in addition to 24-hour engineering and logistics support.

"Aerogal has taken an important step through this agreement with AMG, representing not only projected cost savings in the acquisition of parts and pieces for the airplanes but also a major support solution for our operations," said Gabriela Sommerfeld, president of Aerogal.

"We are very pleased to be selected by Aerogal as an important maintenance partner," said Ben Quevedo, chief executive officer of AMG. "AMG programs have a proven track record of reducing costs and saving time for aircraft operators, and we look forward to supporting Aerogal as the airline continues to grow."
