Frontier Airlines Takes to the Skies With New Embraer 170 Aircraft

Frontier Airlines had signed a long-term airline services agreement in January with Republic Airlines, and has now received the two E-170 aircraft and put them into service.

DENVER , March 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In January, Frontier Airlines(Nasdaq: FRNT) signed a long-term airline services agreement withIndianapolis-based Republic Airlines, a subsidiary of Republic AirwaysHoldings (Nasdaq: RJET). Over the weekend, what was a deal on paper became areality as Republic delivered its first two E-170 aircraft and Frontier put them into service flying from Denver to Indianapolis , Omaha, Albuquerque and El Paso .
