Cessna Hikes Citation X Production

Cessna Aircraft Company, a manufacturer of general aviation aircraft and a division of Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT), announced on Wednesday (7 March) that the company will increase the production of its Citation X business jet over the next five years.
Cessna said that orders for the Citation X have been increasing and, as a result, the company is increasing production by more than 65% from 2006 to 2010 to meet the growing demand for the aircraft.
The company has so far delivered more than 260 Citation Xs to customers, and said that the backlog for the aircraft currently extends well into 2008.
