Hashmi Named Assistant Manager of FlightSafety's Toronto Learning Center

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, NEW YORK (April 2, 2007) – FlightSafety International announced today that Tasneem Hashmi has been named Assistant Center Manager of the company's Learning Center in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Hashmi most recently held the position of Director of Training at the Toronto Learning Center. He began his career with the company as an Instructor prior to serving as Twin Otter Program Manager.

"I am confident that our Toronto Learning Center, under the direction of Patrick Coulter, Center Manager and Tasneem, will continue to offer industry leading training programs and customer service," said Gerry McRae, Director of Project Management, FlightSafety International and previous Manager of the Toronto Learning Center.

Tasneem received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Studies with a major in finance from the University of Wolverhampton. He worked for five years in the financial sector as an accountant and financial controller before beginning his career in aviation. His industry experience includes flight instruction and flying as a line pilot for a USA based oil company. Hashmi has an Airline Transport License, holds a Dash 8 Type Rating and is a member of the Soaring Association of Canada.

In addition to providing Beech 1900D aircraft training, FlightSafety's Toronto Learning Center serves the growing number of Bombardier Q Series aircraft operators. The Center is home to nine Flight Training Devices and Full Flight Simulators designed and manufactured by FlightSafety.
