ASA Names New COO, Maintenance VP

Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA), a subsidiary of SkyWest Inc (NasdaqGS:SKYW), has announced that it has appointed Anthony J. DiNota as the company's chief operating officer.

DiNota is currently ASA's vice president - Atlanta Airport Operations. In his new role DiNota will oversee and direct the day-to-day execution of ASA's operational plan, the airline said.

In addition the company announced that it has appointed Kenneth Ashworth as vice president - Maintenance and Engineering. Ashworth was previously director of Maintenance at ASA's sister carrier SkyWest Airlines.

Ashworth will hold responsibility for strategic planning and direct oversight of ASA's Maintenance and Engineering division, including the operation of seven ASA maintenance facilities and responsibility for aircraft maintenance, engineering, quality control, production control, technical training and materiel.

The appointments are effective immediately.
