Michelin Launches Exclusive Program to Authorized Service Centers
Michelin will offer an instant 20 percent rebate to customers who convert all the main landing gear tires on their aircraft from a competitive brand to Michelin brand tires.
GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 18, 2007) – Beginning this month, Michelin Aircraft Tire Company, LLC will offer its Authorized Service Centers (ASCs) a unique way to reach aircraft tire consumers. The program, "Upgrade to Michelin," was launched April 1, 2007, and will be promoted in conjunction with the annual Sun 'n Fun aviation trade show in Lakeland, Fla. The offer will only be available through Authorized Service Centers in the Michelin fixed base operator network.
With this program, Michelin will offer an instant 20 percent rebate to customers who convert all the main landing gear tires on their aircraft from a competitive brand to Michelin brand tires. In addition, those customers who convert all the main and nose landing gear tires on their aircraft will receive a 25 percent instant rebate off the total amount of Michelin tires purchased.
"At Michelin, we are continuously looking for ways to strengthen our relationship with reputable service providers," said Terry Schultz, director of general aviation sales, Michelin Aircraft Tire Company. "The 'Upgrade to Michelin' program challenges existing centers to utilize the tools and resources we have designed to expand their sales and receive rewards in return."
This offer includes Michelin AIR X, Michelin Air, and Michelin Aviator products. Note: Michelin AIRSTOP tubes are not included in this promotion.
