Boeing Signs Spirit AeroSystems to Provide Nacelle Component Repair and Overhaul

Boeing's Commercial Aviation Services organization has signed Spirit AeroSystems to provide component repair and overhaul services on Boeing airplane components.

SEATTLE, April 18, 2007 -- Boeing's [NYSE:BA] Commercial Aviation Services organization has signed Spirit AeroSystems [NYSE: SPR] to provide component repair and overhaul services on Boeing airplane components.

Wichita, Kan.-based Spirit will repair and overhaul engine nacelles for Boeing 777 and Next-Generation 737 airplanes as part of the Boeing Component Repair and Leasing Services Network Service Center (NSC) program, which offers component repair support for Boeing customers at sites in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
