ACROHELIPRO Awarded Contract in Support of Canadian Forces' Operation Starfish

ACROHELIPRO has been awarded a contract to perform first-line maintenance support on Canadian Forces CH-146 Griffon aircraft based out of 8-Wing Trenton, Ontario, Canada.

Langley, British Columbia - ACROHELIPRO Global Services Inc. (ACROHELIPRO), a subsidiary of Vector Aerospace Corporation, has been awarded the highly-anticipated contract to perform first-line maintenance support on Canadian Forces CH-146 Griffon aircraft based out of 8-Wing Trenton, Ontario, Canada. The selection of ACROHELIPRO to fulfill this role was made in support of Canadian Forces OPERATION STARFISH, which is the primary military Search and Rescue (SAR) operation within the region.

"We have extensive experience, a proven reputation, the capacity and capability to provide world-class, long-term field support to both the Canadian Military and civil operators supporting Department of National Defense (DND) initiatives, such as the CH-146 upgrade program. As such, we are pleased to be awarded this very important contact," states Elvis Moniz, Director of Avionics for ACROHELIPRO. Moniz indicates the contract is for one initial year and renewable up to four years, and will employ up to 12 helicopter technicians.

ACROHELIPRO also provides helicopter support services to the Canadian military by way of performing depot-level maintenance inspections on CH-146 Griffon helicopters, as well as various maintenance, repair and overhaul activities related to CH-124 Sea King engines, transmissions, components and accessories. In addition, the company has maintenance contracts in force with various civil and defense departments from countries including the United States.
