MONTREAL , July 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - ExelTech Aerospace Inc.("ExelTech Aerospace", "ExelTech" or the "Company"), (TSX Venture: XLT),Canada's largest publicly-listed commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul organization, today announced that it has signed a five-year contract to provide Bombardier CRJ regional jet maintenance services for Air Wisconsin.
Under the exclusive agreement, valued at up to $CDN 28 million, ExelTech will perform major maintenance, including structural inspections and repairs,in its CRJ Heavy Maintenance Facility at Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The work will begin in November 2007 .
With a fleet of 70 Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft, Appleton, WI-based Air Wisconsin is the largest privately-held regional airline in the United States .Founded in 1965, Air Wisconsin today operates as US Airways Express, carrying over five million passengers per year on nearly 500 departures per day to 69 cities in 26 states and two Canadian provinces.
