All six certificate programs are offered online by Embry-Riddle's Office of Professional Education. These new self-paced online certificate programs are designed to provide essential information in a timely manner and to fit within an individual's busy work and family schedules.

Daytona Beach, Fla., Sept. 18, 2007 – The Worldwide Campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is rolling out six new professional development certificate programs in the areas of aviation business, law, and finance as the initial offerings in a developing series of programs.

All six certificate programs are offered online by Embry-Riddle's Office of Professional Education to anyone in the world. The new certificate programs are the Start-Up and Business Owner Management certificate, Advanced Strategies in Human Resource Management certificate, Management for IT Professionals certificate, Management Studies certificate, Online Paralegal certificate, and the certificate in Purchasing Management.

These new self-paced online certificate programs are designed to provide essential information in a timely manner and to fit within an individual's busy work and family schedules. Studies have shown that credentials in the areas covered by these programs can significantly increase a person's earning potential and career growth. Certificate programs are also a means of supplementing an existing education by adding to or reinforcing knowledge in a particular subject area.
