United Rotorcraft Solutions Begins Customizing Grosvenor Industries' Bell 407

The cockpit installation will include the SAGEM ICDS-10 Integrated Cockpit Display System, the Garmin GNS530AW Comm/NAV/GPS and the SL-40 Comm-2, the GDL69A XM Weather, and the Avidyne TCAD.

DECATUR, TX, OCTOBER 2, 2007: United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS) has been awarded the completions contract for a Bell 407 from Grosvenor Industries of Florida.

URS has started work to complete the 407 to Grosvenor’s specification. The cockpit installation will include the SAGEM ICDS-10 Integrated Cockpit Display System, the Garmin GNS530AW Comm/NAV/GPS and the SL-40 Comm-2, the GDL69A XM Weather, and the Avidyne TCAD. Some of the corporate amenities to be installed are the CD player with changer, ICARUS Satellite Phone, Cell Phone Blue Tooth interface along with the MP3 1/8 inch input, tinted windows, baggage extenders and full leather interior.

The airframe will be equipped with Air Conditioning, Wing Tip Strobes, High Visibility Crew Doors, supper Night Scanner, and Wire Strike Protection.

With a planned delivery by the end of November from United Rotorcraft Solutions, Grosvenor Industries will utilize the new Bell 407 for corporate operations.
