Atlanta, GA -- September 25, 2007 -- BBA Aviation ERO company Dallas Airmotive has appointed Darrell Capra as manager of operations for its Minneapolis Regional Turbine Center. Capra will be responsible for day to day business operations. The RTC is an authorized Honeywell Major Service Center for the TFE731 and offers MPI services for all models of the popular business jet engine.

Capra joined Dallas Airmotive in 1996 at the Minneapolis facility and served as chief inspector and later supervisor. In 2005, he moved to Dallas Airmotive’s Grapevine, Texas facility after accepting the position of TFE731 field service supervisor. Capra is a licensed A&P mechanic and has attended all of Honeywell’s factory training on the TFE731.

“Darrell is very familiar with the Minneapolis operation and has been involved with customer support from that base for many years,” states Mike Cumnock, Dallas Airmotive vice president for customer service. “His return as manager is a natural fit with our business and we are confident he will be instrumental in helping that facility continue the healthy growth in engine inputs we’ve seen out of the region.”
